Welcome to the site dedicated to the Incredible Jimmy Smith, master of the jazz organ. The aim of this site is to give as full a discography of his work as can be uncovered. Currently this is only for original album releases, no compilations are listed. Or singles, for that matter.

All known releases are grouped by decade, in order of recording date (for multiple dates per album, the latest recording date has been used). Each decade has a page which links to the individual LP pages.

You'll note that the chronology for the Blue Note albums is rather baffling,
so there is an extra Blue Note page, which may help.

The re-issue information is as best as can be found at present and should really only be used as a guide. It gets updated every few months.
