REVIEW
For this recording, Jimmy shares
soloing space with Wes Montgomery. They play in both a big and small band
format, meeting with good results in both settings. The large band settings
have more drama whereas the smaller ones are slightly better suited to Wes'
laid back guitar stylings. A spirited run through of the rhythm 'n' blues
standard Night Train is the highlight of the set.
